Teams
We play in several leagues and divisions over the winter and summer seasons, with home matches played on Monday nights from 7.30pm. Typical matches finish between 10.30pm - 11pm and so must allow travelling time for away matches. Most matches get graded which are published twice yearly in July and January. Games are played with a clock, usually digital and your moves must be recorded on a score sheet. A typical time control for leagues: Central Lancs. and Bury and Rochdale league is 35 moves in 75 minutes, then 15 minutes added to existing time to complete your game.
